Cat-Meow
The Cat-Meow is a small, innovative device that makes it possible to detect an Argos signal from a nearby Argos beacon. Light-weight and easy to transport, it makes a beeping sound when it detects an Argos signal. It is helpful for equipment testing (no need to wait for the satellite to be overhead), and to verify that an Argos tag is transmitting, within close range.
